Fall Colours - Day Trip in the Ottawa Valley

Join us this fall on a scenic driving tour throughout the Ottawa Valley and Pontiac County to see the spectacular foilage our region is famous for!

Beginning in Arnprior and Renfrew, we will tour the back roads as we make our way to Pembroke and across the Ottawa River into the Pontiac County of Western Quebec. Winding our way through the rural countryside, our first stop will be at Fort William where we will enjoy an interpretive tour of this historic location by a local historian. Just down the road from Fort William, we will enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal for lunch at the Auberge Northfork.

After lunch, we will stop for a visit at the spectacular Chutes Coulonge. Enjoy the scenic walking trails and postcard views of the 100ft. waterfall and whitewater gorge. The interpretive centre for the Chutes offers historic videos of the logging era in the Pontiac County. From the Chutes, we return to the Ontario side of the Ottawa River and make our way back to Arnprior and Renfrew.
