Shipshewana - Fall Crafters Fair
Travel this fall down to Shipshewana, Indiana for the annual Fall Crafters Fair. Nestled in the heart of the American Midwest's largest Amish community, Shipshewana is home to the Fall Crafters Fair featuring quality artisans, quilters, carvers, painters, food vendors, cloggers and musicians of all types. There are also numerous Amish handcrafted furniture stores and over 100 specialty shops located within the town itself.

DAY 1 - Tuesday, September 27, 2011
Maumee, OH
The fun begins when we board our beautiful,
fully equipped luxury touring coach on the 417 corridor between Pembroke
and Ottawa. Time and place will be established closer to trip date.
We begin by heading West, crossing at Windsor before arriving in Maumee
Ohio for the night.
DAY 2 - Wednesday, September 28, 2011
Shipshewana, IN
After breakfast, we depart our hotel on a short 2 hour drive to Shipshewana. Enjoy one of the many local restaurants and cafes for a leisurely lunch. Your tour guide will orient you to the Crafter’s Fai and local market conveniently located near our hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore. Overnight in Shipshewana. Today, breakfast will be included.<
DAY 3 - Thursday, September 29, 2011
Shipshewana, IN
After breakfast, a local step on tour guide will take us on a tour of Shipshewana Town and the surrounding area (including a visit to a working Amish farm and buggy
manufacturer). The rest of your day is free day to continue exploring the Crafters Fair and the many unique specialty stores. Some unique dining options will be presented to you this afternoon for your consideration.
Overnight in Shipshewana. Today, breakfast will be included.
DAY 4 - Friday, September 30, 2011
Shipshewana, IN to Maumee, OH
Enjoy the majority of the day in
Shipshewana as you continue to explore the various markets, Amish furniture stores and local artisans shops. Later in the afternoon (4pm), we will begin our journey home with the short drive back to Maumee, OH.
Overnight in Maumee, OH. Today, breakfast will be included.
DAY 5 - Saturday, October 1, 2011
Back Home
After breakfast, we get an early start on the road back home to the Ottawa Valley. Drop offs will be in the reverse order as the pick ups on Day 1. Today, breakfast will be included.
