Travel this October down to Shipshewana, Indiana for the annual Fall Crafters Fair. Nestled in the heart of the American Midwest's largest Amish community, Shipshewana is home to the Fall Crafters Fair featuring quality artisans, quilters, carvers, painters, food vendors, cloggers and musicians of all types. Booking Details
To reserve this tour, please forward a deposit of $100 (per person). Balances are due August 23, 2010. A minimum of 30 participants are required by August 1, 2010 for the tour to operate. Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking.

Please note: For this tour, deposits are fully refundable up to 45 days prior to the tour departure minus a $20 per person administration fee. There are no refunds 0-45 days prior to the tour departure


Itinerary

DAY 1 - Wednesday, October 6
Maumee, OH
The fun begins when we board our beautiful, fully equipped luxury touring coach on the 417 corridor between Pembroke and Ottawa. Time and place will be established closer to trip date. We begin by heading West, crossing at Windsor before arriving in Maumee Ohio for the night.

DAY 2 - Thursday, October 7
Shipshewana, IN
After breakfast, we depart our hotel on a short 2 hour drive to Shipshewana. Enjoy one of the many local restaurants and cafes for a leisurely lunch. Next, we will take a guided bus tour of Shipshewana Town and the surrounding area (including a visit to a working Amish farm). The rest of the afternoon is free for you to start exploring the Crafters Fair. Overnight in Shipshewana.

DAY 3 - Friday, October 8
Shipshewana, IN
Today is a free day for you to explore the Fall Crafters Fair and the many unique specialty stores. If you need a break from your shopping, take in a matinee performance at the Blue Gate Theater, visit Menno-Hof and see the Amish Mennonite story told in both historical and present day environments, or relax on a buggy/carriage ride. Overnight in Shipshewana.

DAY 4 - Saturday, October 9
Shipshewana, IN to Maumee, OH
Enjoy the majority of the day in Shipshewana as you continue to explore the various markets, Amish furniture stores and local artisans shops. Later in the afternoon (3pm), we will begin our journey home with the short drive back to Maumee, OH. Dinner and overnight in Maumee.

DAY 5 - Sunday, October 10
Back Home
After breakfast, we get an early start on the road back home to the Ottawa Valley. Drop offs will be in the reverse order as the pick ups on Day 1.
