Travel Day. The Emerald Isle, a land renowned for its “forty shades of green,” is filled with rolling hills, warm people, stately castles and rollicking fun. Visit Dublin, Waterford, Killarney and Limerick as this comprehensive tour introduces Ireland's natural beauty, rich history and hospitable culture. Tonight, we board our overnight flight to begin our tour to Ireland.
Dublin, Ireland - Tour Begins. A Cead Mile Failte to the Emerald Isle is extended on arrival at Dublin Airport by your driver/guide before a short drive takes us to the Man O’War traditional Irish pub. Afterwards we travel on to our hotel to relax and unwind before an early dinner. Breakfast & Dinner/overnight Grand Hotel, Malahide, Co. Dublin.
Boyne Valley & Cooley Peninsula. Boyne Valley & Cooley Peninsula Head north through the majestic Mountains of Mourne into Saint Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre which tells his story. Afterwards we drive to Strangford, where Game of Thrones is filmed and take the ferryboat ride to beautiful Portaferry. Onwards to Belfast for a panoramic tour which will include the political wall murals located on the Protestant Shankill Road and the Catholic Falls Road—a unique cultural experience. Belfast's Titanic Quarter. A guided tour of Belfast City Hall, is first on the agenda this morning. Then a panoramic tour which will include the political wall murals located on the Protestant Shankill Road and the Catholic Falls Road - a unique cultural experience. See also the shipyard where the Titanic was built in 1909 and learn all about one of the most intriguing stories in history. This evening experience what it was like to be a prisoner in Belfast’s Crumlin Road Gaol. A guided tour is followed by dinner. Breakfast & Dinner, Overnight Europa Hotel, Belfast.
Giant's Causeway and Derry. This morning we drive north along the Antrim Coast and visit the Giant’s Causeway. We then continue on to Derry where a local guide will tell the “Story of Derry” on a walking tour of this historic walled city. Breakfast & Dinner/Overnight—Jackson’s Hotel, Co. Donegal.
Bulben and Clew Bay. Ben Bulben & Clew Bay We visit Belleek, home of the world famous porcelain factory. We then enter the romantic domain of W. B. Yeats via Drumcliffe where he is buried and other sites in Sligo associated with the life of the poet, before continuing to Westport. Breakfast & Dinner/Overnight—Castlecourt Hotel, Westport.
Connemara. Connemara remains one of the wildest and most romantic places in Ireland. Enjoy a visit to Kylemore Abbey. Some free time this afternoon to discover the charm of Westport. Breakfast & Dinner/Overnight—Westport Coast, Westport.
Galway City & Cliffs of Moher. Enroute to Galway this morning we will pass thru’ the village of Cong location for the classic film The Quiet Man. Some time in Galway City before traversing the Burren region and viewing the mighty Cliffs of Moher. This evening guests will enjoy the medieval banquet at the Bunratty Castle. Breakfast & Dinner Overnight—Bunratty Castle Hotel, Bunratty.
Limerick & Adare. After breakfast we head for the Kingdom of Kerry. A tour of Limerick City is undertaken before travelling to Adare and then arriving in the beautiful town of Killarney.
Breakfast & Dinner/Overnight—Earls Court, Killarney.
Ring of Kerry. A leisurely tour around the Iveragh Peninsula reputed to be the most scenic 100-mile drive in Europe. Travel via kilorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville on Ballinskelligs Bay and the quaint village of Sneem with its brightly painted shops and cottages. On through Moll’s Gap and along by Ladies View that provides some spectacular vistas of the famous Lakes of Killarney. This evening you are invited to Quill’s Farmhouse for a traditional irish dinner and entertainment. Breakfast & Dinner/overnight Earls Court Hotel, Killarney.
Blarney & Waterford. After breakfast we travel toward Cork and the village of Blarney to shop for handcrafts and a chance to kiss the ‘stone of eloquence’ (optional). We head to Tipperary & visit Cahir Castle and the town of Cashel, before arriving in medieval Kilkenny. Breakfast & Dinner/Overnight—Hotel Kilkenny, Kilkenny.
Kilkenny. Follow in the footsteps of a group of Famine emigrants as you board a replica of the sailing vessel Dunbrody at the quayside in New Ross. We continue to the city of Waterford and visit the new Waterford Crystal Centre before returning back to Kilkenny. Breakfast & Dinner/Overnight—Hotel Kilkenny, Kilkenny.
Dublin. This morning we travel through the Curragh of Kildare for a guided tour of the Irish National Stud. You also visit the Horse Museum and the Japanese Gardens. A panoramic tour of Dublin is undertaken before arriving at your city hotel. This evening, a free night to explore the electric atmosphere in Dublin. Breakfast & Overnight—Gresham Hotel, Dublin.

Dublin - Tour Ends. Your tour ends after a final hearty Irish breakfast in your Dublin hotel and transfer to Dublin airport for your return flight home. Today, Breakfast is included.
