Itinerary:


Day 1 - Tuesday, September 12, 2017

Fly to Dublin, Ireland.  Today is a travel day. After our pickups along Hwy 17 (Pembroke to Ottawa), we take our overnight flight from the Ottawa airport to Dublin, Ireland.


Day 2 - Wednesday, September 13, 2017

Arrive Dublin – Tour Begins.  Meet your guide at Dublin Airport before we head to our hotel in Malahide for a welcome reception followed by dinner. (D)


Day 3 - Thursday, September 14, 2017

Boyne Valley & Cooley Peninsula. Head north through the Mountains of Mourne into Saint Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre. Afterwards we drive to Strangford, where Game of Thrones is filmed, before arriving in Belfast late afternoon. (B, D)


Day 4 - Friday, September 15, 2017

Titanic Quarter.  A guided tour of Belfast City Hall is first on the agenda this morning. Next, experience what life was like for a prisoner in Belfast’s Crumlin Road Gaol. In the afternoon, visit the shipyard where the Titanic was built in 1909. The evening is free in Belfast. (B)


Day 5 - Saturday, September 16, 2017

​Giant’s Causeway.  This morning we drive north via Carnlough, Glenariff and Ballycastle on the North Antrim Coast. We visit the Giant’s Causeway and then Dunluce Castle enroute to Derry.  A local guide will tell the "Story of Derry"  on a walking tour of this historic walled city. (B, D)


Day 6 - Sunday, September 17, 2017

Ben Bulben & Clew Bay. We travel south thru’ Donegal and on to Belleek to visit the world-famous porcelain factory. We then continue to Westport on Clew Bay. (B, D)


Day 7 - Monday, September 18, 2017

Connemara. Enjoy a visit to Kylemore Abbey on the shores of Kylemore Lough and cross the picturesque Maam Valley. This afternoon there will be free time to explore Westport. (B, D)


Day 8 - Tuesday, September 19, 2017

Galway & Cliffs of Moher. Time in Galway before driving along the southern shores of Galway Bay, traversing the Burren region and viewing the Cliffs of Moher. An optional Traditional Irish Night in Bunratty Folk Park is on offer tonight. (B)


Day 9 - Wednesday, September 20, 2017

Windsor. Today we bid farewell to Ireland and fly to London. This afternoon, a visit to Windsor Castle—a royal residence and the Queen's favourite weekend retreat. (B, D)


Day 10 - Thursday, September 21, 2017

Oxford & Stratford. After breakfast, we make our way to the "city of dreaming spires," Oxford, where we will have a walking tour of this famous city and visit one of the famous colleges. This afternoon, we make our way to Stratford-upon-Avon. (B)


Day 11 - Friday, September 22, 2017

Liverpool & Chester. After breakfast we drive to Liverpool, birthplace of The Beatles. We will then drive on to Chester with its Roman Amphitheatre and medieval half-timbered houses. We will have a walking tour of this historic city with a Roman Soldier as our guide. (B, D)


Day 12 - Saturday, September 23, 2017

Snowdonia. Enjoy a stunning visit to Snowdonia National Park. The park is dominated by Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. Your tour will also include a ride on the Ffestiniog Railway and a visit to Conwy Castle. (B)


Day 13 - Sunday, September 24, 2017

Ludlow & Cardiff. We will have a lunch stop and free time at the historic market town of Ludlow. This evening, a feature dinner with entertainment at the Wales Millennium Centre. (B, D)


Day 14 - Monday, September 25, 2017

Bath & London. After breakfast, you will drive to Bath.  Here you will view the magnificent Royal Crescent, and visit the preserved and fascinating Roman Baths. You will then drive to London for your final night, where you can enjoy the sights in a city filled with iconic landmarks. (B)


Day 15 - Tuesday, September 26, 2017

Home. Your tour ends after a hearty English breakfast with a transfer to London Gatwick Airport for those guests departing today. (B)
