General Information

INSURANCE
It is highly recommended and must be purchased at time of booking. See individual itineraries for insurance rates as some tours offer an “All-Inclusive: Cancellation/Medical” flat rate. If purchasing insurance, full date of birth is required for each person. It is based on your age at the time of booking. We strongly suggest you have insurance coverage, especially Medical coverage outside of Canada. We also offer a Canada Plan that is coverage for Canadians who have provincial insurance (ie. OHIP). The Canada Plan offers Out of Province Medical coverage and trip cancellation/interruption. Note: Jamieson Travel acts solely as a facilitator for arranging travel insurance for clients and accepts no responsibility for settlement of possible claims.

PAYMENT
Once registered with deposit/insurance, an invoice will be sent to each traveling person with information regarding the final payment. All rates are in Canadian Dollars.

TOUR INFORMATION
The names and phone numbers of all the hotels and tour Pick-Up schedule will be issued to registered passengers, approximately one month prior to tour departure.

TOUR CANCELLATION
Jamieson Travel & Tours reserves the right to cancel any motor coach tours should it not meet operating requirements.

SEATING ON COACHES
Seat rotation will be directed by the tour escort during a tour. This applies to all members of a tour.

BAGGAGE
Maximum baggage allowance is one large suitcase per person of 50lbs plus a carry-on. Each person is responsible for their own carry-on.

TIPPING
It is customary to tip your motorcoach driver at the end of a bus tour. On our overseas tours, it is customary to tip the local guide and the bus driver.

RETURNED CHEQUE POLICY
A $40 fee will be charged for cheques returned NSF (non-sufficient-funds).

IDENTIFICATION
Canadians citizens require a birth certificate and government issued photo identification or valid passport for entry into the United States. Tours abroad require a valid passport. We highly recommend your passport not expire within six months of your return date (some countries require 6 months remaining validity on passports). Please check your passport before traveling. Passports, Visas, Permanent Resident Cards and sufficient proof of identification are the responsibility of the passenger.

NAME CHANGES TO AIR TICKETS
Should you submit an incorrect name spelling for a tour that requires plane tickets, any fees incurred to make the name correction will be at your expense. Jamieson Travel and Tours reserves the right to decline any person as a member of a tour at any time before or during a tour should such person be considered detrimental to the enjoyment of other tour passengers. A refund for unused services will not be issued.

REFUND POLICY FOR MOTOR COACH TOURS
Over 45 days - Deposit PLUS insurance premium fully refunded minus a $20 administration fee

45-30 days - Deposit refunded minus a $20 per person administration fee

29-0 days - No refund by Jamieson Travel & Tours. Full claim through Insurance Company
We strongly suggest the purchase of Cancellation Insurance.

Air/Cruise Packages - Non-refundable 75 days prior to departure. Full claim through Insurance Company

Tour Packages that include Air - Prices are current at the time of writing this catalogue. Clients are responsible for any increase in fuel surcharges or taxes that could occur between booking and final payment. Notice will be given.
