Day 1 - Tuesday, August 8, 2017
Travel Day - Edmundston, NB. We depart Pembroke early Tuesday morning, traveling eastbound on highway 417. Pick-up times and locations will be mailed to you one month prior to departure. Tonight, we will stay in Edmundston, New Brunswick and enjoy a welcome dinner and a chance to get to know your fellow travelers. Today, dinner will be included.
Day 2 - Wednesday, August 9, 2017
Summerside, PEI. This morning, we leave Edmundston and travel through beautiful New Brunswick. After lunch we will travel to the Bay of Fundy to explore the famous Hopewell Rocks. Enjoy the amazing views from the network of viewing platforms and if the tide is right – walk on the ocean floor. Crossing the Confederation Bridge, we enter the province of Prince Edward Island. Summerside, PEI is where we stay for the next two nights. Today, breakfast will be included.
Day 3 - Thursday, August 10, 2017
Summerside, PEI - Charlottetown & Cavendish Beach. A full day of touring the red soil island is in store today. Our local step on tour guide will join us in Charlottetown for a tour of this important Canadian historical city. Next, we travel to the famous Cavendish Beach area to visit the Anne of Green Gables house and enjoy a leisurely lunch. The PEI Preserve Company is a must see attraction that we will visit among other little island highlights. Tonight, enjoy a sumptuous lobster supper. Today, breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 4 - Friday, August 11, 2017
Summerside, PEI. Today is a free day to enjoy Summerside. Perhaps you'll want to enjoy some of their unique shops, or walk along the ocean on their 6km boardwalk. Today, breakfast will be included.
Day 5 - Saturday, August 12, 2017
Halifax, NS. This morning, we depart the island by ferry as we make our way to Halifax. A local step on guide will join us for a tour of this popular East Coast city. You will love your two night’s stay at our Dartmouth hotel that overlooks the Halifax harbor front. A quick ferry shuttles you to many wonderful attractions, such as the Citadel and Pier 21. Today, breakfast will be included.
Day 6 - Sunday, August 13, 2017
Halifax, NS. Today is truly East Coast; we visit the unique Canadian landmark, Peggy’s Cove, before experiencing the charm of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg (home of the Bluenose Ship). After lunch we will return to our hotel and the afternoon is at your leisure. Soak in the views of the harbour from a restaurant, pub or café that overlooks the ships that sail in and out of the port. Today, breakfast will be included.
Day 7 - Monday, August 14, 2017
Edmundston, NB. Today, you are in for a special treat as we make our way west towards Edmundston. Enroute we will stop at the Hartland Covered Bridge and Magnetic Hill. Today, breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 8 - Tuesday, August 15, 2017
Home. Today, we travel the final leg of our journey as we return to the Ottawa Valley. Enroute, we will stop for a rest break in the heart of Old Quebec City. There will be free time to explore the historic walled city and to enjoy lunch at a street-side cafe. In the afternoon, we will complete our journey home with drop-offs occurring in the reverse.

Balances are due June 22, 2017. A minimum of 30 participants are required by this date for the tour to operate. Insurance must be purchased at the time of booking. Please Note: For this tour, deposits are fully refundable up to 45 days prior to the tour departure minus a $20 per person admin fee. There are no refunds 0-44 days prior to the tour departure.
Cancellation Waiver only flat rate of $145 per person (regardless of age). Waiver must be purchased at the time of booking.
